ReWalk at Project Walk

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 5, 2014) - Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Center is teaming up with ReWalk Robotics to bring the first and only FDA-approved exoskeleton to the paralysis community. Project Walk will have the system available starting December 11.
“This is a very exciting opportunity as ReWalk has undoubtedly created a true user-initiated system unlike any other exoskeleton,” says Project Walk Chief Executive Officer, Tim Yates. “I have seen the difference ReWalk has made for wounded U.S. Marine Captain and Project Walk client, Derek Herrera. It was a beautiful moment as he [Herrera] was able to stand upright in his device and walk across the stage to accept his Bronze Star [combat distinguishing]. The hope is others like Derek will have the opportunity to share in a similar experience by coming to Project Walk.”
