Chris has extensive experience in professional athletics, drafted in the 4th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft. Chris excelled in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization as a hitting pitcher through the AAA level. Through this experience, Chris realized his potential and passion to work within an active capacity believing his purpose was to teach or train others in athletics. He continued to work as an Athletic Instructor for youth baseball and as the Assistant Pitching Coach for his Alma Matter, California State University, Sacramento (CSUS).
Chris graduated from CSUS with a B.S. in Physical Education and a Minor in Mass Communications. His passion for working with those living with a disability comes from personal experience as his father suffered a stroke in 2006, leaving his Dad with limited mobility and a speech impediment.
Chris looks forward to the opportunity to bring his knowledge and education to the workplace, and believes that Project Walk is a rare opportunity to help others in their road to recovery.
On his time off, Chris likes to grow avocados in small containers on his windowsill, has an aversion to specific shades of orange, and will defend the importance of original Nintendo games to anyone that will listen.
